 Membership Types
Full
Our Full Membership gives you access to our whole Rhodes 19 fleet (27 boats!) 7 days a week, May 1st through October 31st. It is by far the best value on the harbor. For an additional $100.00 get the J/22 upgrade and use our J/22 fleet too.
Family
The Family Membership is a great deal. For an extra $100, the whole family can share a full membership – and share the helm too!
Weekend
The Weekend Membership makes a lot of sense for anyone who knows that weekdays just don’t work. Come out on Saturdays and Sundays all season long!
Weekday
If you’ve got the freedom to sail during the week, a Weekday Membership may be your best bet, and they are very easy on the budget.
Monthly
Monthly Memberships make sense if you’ll be away for much of the season, or aren’t sure you want to commit to a full membership. Pick any 30-day period and sail all you want!
Daily
Our Daily Membership option is great for out-of-town visitors who are looking for a little time on the water. It’s also a great option for anyone who’s not sure which membership is right for them and wants to come down and check us out!
J/22 Upgrade
The J/22 Upgrade gives any membership access to our fleet of eight J/22s for just $100 more. While we all love the Rhodes 19, there comes a time when you want to sail in a higher gear. The J/22 is a fast and highly responsive keelboat, built for speed and performance. Note: Cruising Memberships come with J/22 fleet use automatically.
Corporate Membership
Great for the whole company! Anyone with a company ID or who is on your company's employee list can sail. This membership works like a Full Membership but for your entire staff - what a company perk! Courageous offers one, two or three boat Corporate Membership options.
Cruising
For some of us, it’s all about the big boats, backup engines, and thoughts of sailing around the world. Our cruising fleet won’t take you quite that far, but it will take you around the Harbor Islands and then some. Whether it’s packing picnic lunches and inviting friends and family for daytrips around the Harbor Islands, or plotting waypoints for a weekend trip, our cruising fleet will inspire you to think big and sail far.
Those of you interested in cruising on bigger boats will notice a big change in 2010. We have recently sold two of our older 30-foot boats and acquired a new 30 footer, with an inboard diesel engine and wheel steering. The goal is to reduce our inventory of older boats to make room for a better, more reliable fleet. Until we get there, our biggest boats will be reserved for courses and the usual cruising memberships will not be available. But we are introducing a brand new category right away, called Day Cruising, for boats under 24' with outboard engines. We are very excited about this because it will make a cruising experience available and the Harbor Islands more accessible to our members for hundreds of dollars less than last year's lowest-tier cruising membership. To start, Day Cruising members will have access to our two Ranger 23's and two J/22s with outboard engines, but we hope to add several newer day cruisers to the fleet very soon!
